The main goal of the project is to create superb conditions for the effective education of highly qualified staff for the maritime sector, transport, rescue and marine and land surveying.

The outcome of the project will be state-of-the-art facilities (3 buildings and new quays) for research, education and training units with a modern infrastructure and innovative specialised equipment.

In conjunction with the already existing in direct neighbourhood, Centre for Operation of Floating Objects, the project will become home to exceptional research and development facilities.

Advanced experimental activities will be carried out on the ground and in adjacent waters to acquire expertise directly applicable to the development of new and significant improvements to existing products, processes or services.
